Totting up

Penalty points can soon add up and if you are unlucky enough to get 12 points over a 3 year period the court will consider disqualification. This is usually for a minimum of 6 months. It may be possible to argue that you should not be disqualified because of the effect that would have on your personal circumstances. This is called exceptional hardship. It could include the impact of disqualification on other family members or employees.

Presenting the argument for exceptional hardship is not easy as the court will need to be provided with strong evidence that can stand up to rigorous questioning. That is where we come in. With our help the case can be properly prepared and placed before the court in a professional manner.

Even if such an argument is not available our help could lead to a shorter disqualification than would otherwise be imposed.
